| Licencing / Use of Data | |||
| All our maps and map data products are sold on condition that: 1) Geographx be acknowledged where the maps or data are published in print or electronic media. 2) Geographx data not be on-supplied to a third party without our consent. Where it is proposed to on-supply data to third parties in any form, the terms and conditions must first be negotiated and agreed upon with Geographx. An additional data fee or a royalty payment may be considered as part of these negotiations. A reproduction fee (normally 50%) may apply where data purchased for a particular purpose, or use in a particular publication, is subsequently used for a different purpose or in a new or different publication. A formal Licencing Agreement is usually only required for supply of our more detailed datasets, or where Geographx data is to be on-sold, or packaged and redistributed with an end-user software application. The licencing agreement will cover: • Application & Formation of Agreement • Special Conditions of Use • Ownership of Intellectual Property • Disclaimers & Liability |

| Pricing / Quotations | |||
| All pricing (with the exception of books, printed maps, printed posters and gaming data) is exclusive of GST. Where a quotation or price estimate is provided for the supply of a map image or to undertake a custom mapping assignment, the price stated will include provision for one round of consultation and editing of draft copy. Additional rounds of consultation/editing may incur an additional fee. |

| Delivery / Distribution of Product | |||
| Data and digital maps will normally be made available via email, FTP upload, CD-ROM or DVD-ROM, depending on client requirements and what is appropriate in the circumstances. With large datasets (>10Gb), we prefer toupload files directly to a client’s portable hard drive. CDs and DVDs will normally be consigned by overnight courier within New Zealand. Map tubes, and CDs/DVDs destined for an overseas address, will normally be consigned by airmail post. |
|||
| Invoicing / Payment | |||
| An electronic invoice will be emailed to clients on completion of work or following delivery of product. Progress payments may be negotiated for assignments spanning more than 30 days. We ask clients to instigate payment procedures on receipt of invoice (we do not issue statements). We prefer payment by direct credit (refer to invoice for bank account details). Payment by cheque is also acceptable. Please note we do not accept credit cards. For overseas clients, we recommend online payment using Paypal. 21 August 2008 |
